Preserving historic places preserves the soul of the community.

What They’re Saying

In researching the urgency and opportunity of reusing concrete architecture from the 1960s and 70s, I found midcenturybanks.com to be an incredible resource to browse while thinking on that topic.
— Jeanne Gang, Architect, Studio Gang
Kirk is the face of historic preservation in Utah.
— Preservation Utah, Board Vice Chair and Historic Building Owner
This is an outstanding report...really superb...exactly what we need to do.
— Dave Nutter, Retired Planning Director and Assoc. Professor, Asheville, NC
Superb diplomacy skills that are easily apparent and effective.
— Stephen Pace, Client and Historic Building Owner, Salt Lake City
Working with Kirk was absolutely the best choice we could’ve made. He was easy to communicate with and is truly an expert. He kept us informed with every step of the way and was able to find information we never would’ve been able to find ourselves. He created a beautiful finished product for us that made us even more excited about our historical project than we already were. He is a kind person that made us and our project feel valued. He did a better job than we could’ve ever done ourselves. It was so nice to have someone working on the project that appreciated the unique features of our home as much as we did and really wanted to learn about it.
— Taylor Olson & James Egan, NRHP Designation Client and Homeowners, Millcreek City
Kirk is the definitive preservation professional. His qualifications are unsurpassed and his passion is unlimited.
— Bill Love, Aircraft Restoration Consultant, Valkyrie Research
